Master Chief Howard Daniel (Retired)
Master Chief Howard Daniel (Retired) retired from the U.S. Navy in 2006 after 30 years of service. Howard has dedicated his life to advancement, self-challenge, and education. After graduating from a local high school in Dallas, Texas, he joined the U.S. Navy within days and proceeded to the Navy Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois. During his time in the Navy, he advanced to multiple ranks and leadership roles and traveled extensively to many areas throughout the world. Through his roles in leadership and world travels, he learned and promoted key aspects of life management, including positive communication and interactions with others, effective management skills, respect, honor, and dignity for all.
In July 2002, Howard was selected to serve as the Command Master Chief at NAS JRB Fort Worth, Texas, overseeing the morale and welfare of approximately 13,000 personnel, including Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines. Howard was an Air Warfare and Aircrewman who logged more than 3000 flight hours in the P-3 Orion Anti-Submarine aircraft as an Aviation Ordnance Crewman.
He has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (2), Navy Commendation Medal (4), Navy Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Battle “E” (4), Navy Good Conduct (8), National Defense Service Medal (2), Global War on Terrorism Medal, Coast Guard Special Operations Award, Naval Reserve Meritorious Service Medal with Silver Hour Glass, Expert Rifle and Pistol Medals.
Howard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia College. He is a retired Navy veteran and a member of the Department of Veterans Affairs. He has been married to Donna Frazier, formerly of Dallas, Texas, for 30 years, and they reside in Ovilla, Texas.
