FORCM CJ Mitchell
In his position as the Force Master Chief, he has represented and advocated for the Navy Reserve on Capitol Hill, working with Congress and local politicians on cooperative and collaborative programs for veteran and reserve personnel, including employment, education, and leadership initiatives. FORCM Mitchell has given speeches on a variety of leadership and military topics to congressional staffers and Fortune 500 Companies, including GEICO, USAA, General Motors, and VION. He has spoken extensively at events for C-suite executives and veterans’ advocacy groups, including the Navy League, Fleet Reserve Association, and Retired Officers’ Association. FORCM Mitchell earned a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University.
His dissertation focused on developing transformational leadership behaviors. He serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Phoenix, American Intercontinental University, Columbia Southern, and Park University. He and his wife, Rhonda, reside in Alexandria, VA, and enjoy attending movies, sporting events, and traveling.
