Alexandria Gazette: Feed Hungry Children in Alexandria

ALIVE! resumes food collection from the community. Food donations from the community help ALIVE! get high demand, seasonal, and fresh foods that are hard to buy in bulk. At this time of year, breakfast, lunch, and healthy snack food donations go towards summer bags of food for school-aged children. This summer’s ALIVE! bags of food are thanks to a grant from No Kid Hungry, and the continued support of the City of Alexandria. Check out the article on page 10.
